What DAC7 is

DAC7 is an EU directive, implemented in Dutch law, that requires digital platforms to collect and report information about sellers who earn money through them. We report to the Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst), which may share the information with the tax authority of the seller's country within the EU.

Who it applies to

It applies to organizers who sell tickets and receive payouts through RaveTickets. It does not apply to ticket buyers. Certain low-volume sellers may be out of scope, but we still need your information to make that assessment.

What we report

  • your identity details: name or legal entity name, main address, KVK number, VAT number and tax identification number, and, for individuals, date of birth;
  • the financial account identifier used for your payouts;
  • the total consideration paid out to you and the number of relevant transactions, per quarter;
  • any fees, commissions or taxes we withheld.

Most of this is the same information you already provide for payout verification; see how we handle it in our Privacy Policy.

When we report

Reporting is annual, covering the previous calendar year, and is submitted by the statutory deadline (31 January) each year.

Your responsibilities

You must give accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. DAC7 requires us to follow up on missing details and, after reminders, to pause payouts or close an account where required information is still not provided. Reporting your income to us does not replace your own obligation to declare it to your tax authority.

Questions

For questions about what we report about you, email info@ravedragons.com. For advice on your own tax position, please speak to your accountant or tax adviser.
