Ticket Buyer Terms
These terms apply when you buy a ticket through RaveTickets. The organizer of the event is the seller; RaveTickets provides the platform and handles the payment.
Who you are buying from
When you buy a ticket, your contract for the event is with the organizer, not with RaveTickets. RaveTickets is the platform the organizer uses to sell tickets and the service that processes your payment through Stripe. The organizer is responsible for the event and for its own terms, which may apply in addition to these.
Prices and payment
- The total price, including VAT and any booking fee, is shown before you pay. There are no hidden charges added afterwards.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. RaveTickets does not see or store your full card details.
- Your order is confirmed once payment succeeds and your ticket is issued.
Your ticket
- Tickets are delivered by email and can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The organizer decides whether every ticket needs the name of its guest. Where it does, you get a link by email on which you enter the first name, last name and email address of the guest for each ticket; a ticket has no QR code until it has a name, and a ticket without a name is refused at the door. You can put your own name on one ticket of your order with one click. Where the organizer does not ask for names, your own name is put on every ticket of your order and the tickets are sent to you.
- While a ticket of your order still has no name, we may send you up to two reminders by email before the event starts. These are service messages about your order, not marketing.
- A name on a ticket cannot be changed through the link once it is set. If a name is wrong, ask the organizer: the organizer can correct it.
- The organizer can put your name on the tickets of your order that still have no name, for example to speed up entry at the door. You then receive those tickets by email.
- Keep your ticket and its QR code private. A QR code can normally be scanned only once; if it is copied or shared, entry may be refused.
- Entry is subject to the organizer's and the venue's rules, including any minimum age, which the organizer sets and enforces.
Refunds and cancellation
Tickets for an event on a set date are generally not refundable and are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal. Refunds, cancellations and postponements are handled by the organizer. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the details and your rights.
Resale
RaveTickets does not currently offer resale between buyers, and we are working towards an official resale partnership with TicketSwap. Tickets bought through unofficial resale or touting channels may be invalid and refused at the door, so please only buy from the organizer or an official channel.
Your personal data
For your order, the organizer is the controller of your personal data and RaveTickets processes it on the organizer's behalf. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data and your rights.
Problems and contact
For questions about an event, a refund or your order, contact the organizer first. For problems with the platform itself, such as a ticket that will not load, contact us at info@ravedragons.com. If you paid by card, please contact us before starting a chargeback so we can try to resolve it.
Liability and law
RaveTickets is not responsible for the event taking place or for the organizer's conduct, and is liable only for its own platform and payment handling. Nothing here affects the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence. These terms are governed by Dutch law.
